²⁶ After he had Lamech, he lived another seven hundred and eighty-two years and had other sons and daughters. ²⁷ Methuselah lived for nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and then he died.

²⁸ Lamech was one hundred eighty-two years old when he had a son.
